Sharon Feury and the Vibrators was a quartet that formed to play primarily the works of singer,songwriter Sharon Feury . They got their start by playing at various open mics in the Roanoke Va area and wining several local music contest.. They soon found a strong following in and around Roanoke at many of top venues. The music was a blend of jazz, folk and world. Brain Holt and dON Clifton also contributed to the song writing. Drummers included Gary Kelly, Dave "hollywood " Brown and Sam Nash. While popular the groups sometimes R rated show was a bit to saucy for the locals. A name change to "The Sharon Feury Project " did little to displace the bands often misunderstood persona.
