Subject: About "Silent War"
It's a good documentary that shows what can be considered as relevant historical footage and also can be understood as evidence of the long fight against malaria in different South American countries.
Also, I would like to say that the actual name of the country is Colombia, not Columbia as it is commonly misspelled.
A thing that's not evident in the video is that Colombia, as well as other countries, had on that time well developed cities, not only small villages in the middle of the tropical forest. The point here is that due to the weather conditions in most of the small villages, Malaria was a commonly developed illness and that doesn't mean that the entire country was suffering the consequences of that disease.

Subject: I'll have the Vaccination against Fascism please
Very nice little historical artificact about the vaccination program to fight Yellow Fever in Columbia. After developing a vaccine, the solution is carried theough high jungles bridges and towns to the people of Columbia, where they are incolutated, one by one. (insert obligatory child getting jabbed by a needle then crying shot). Goes along very nicely, although what these Columbians have to do with the war on Fascism I'll never know..
