Subject: Nostalgic
This is actually very quaint. Yes the african american servant stereotype makes me want to gag, but that is just the way it was back then. I think he is marvellous and the highlight of the clip. I still appreciate the artistic and nostalgic value. Hollywood was into creating a dreamy view of life back then that really didn't exist and I think it is a good record of how things used to be.

Subject: Breezy dated musical number
Attempted to be light- I don't like sterotypes, and while the music is nice, the collegate visualization is now very dated.

Once again, we have a soundie that shoves everything under the sun!
1) Female and effeminate singers, CHECK!
2) strange dancing CHECK!
3) Oldest College Graduates CHECK!
4) Black Stereotypes? CHECK! (but liked his dancing, and I can bet you those items were cemented to the tray)
