This was a walk outside on Bowen Island using a Sony PCM-D50 hand held stereo recorder. This device is normally very sensitive to wind, but the recording was made with the wind screen on. While the wind is clearly blowing on the microphones, it is suppressed enough to allow dialogue to sound natural. The gale out of the North is known locally as a Squamish Wind.
