Limited Flag: NoSBD
On April 19, 2005, Stockholm Syndrome gave permission to fan Marty Thompson for shows to be hosted at the Archive. Note, Limited- AUDs only, no SBD uploads, please!
Hi Marty
I act as defacto management for Stockholm Syndrome and want to give you the OK to post music on Archive.org. Stockholm requests to reserve the right to pull any particular show off of Archive for any reason they see fit. We do also ask that tapers post only shows they feel sound really good. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for the inquiry and support.
Best,
Brian L. Schwartz

Brian emphasized that only audience tapes, not soundboards, should be archived:
we should avoid posting soundboard tapes. I was under the impression only audience tapes were posted. please do prohibit any posting of soundboards. thanks

Brian also described the lineup:
Stockholm Syndrome is the baby of Dave Schools and Jerry Joseph and I believe the idea of the band was born out of the duo tour in Europe. The guys added Eric McFadden on Guitar, Danny Dziuks on Keys and Wally Ingram on Drums. All 5 of these players toured as Stockholm Syndrome for all of the dates in the US and some dates in Europe.
You are welcome to list any SS show from whenever, even the Dave and Jerry shows.
Policy
http://www.stockholmsyndromeband.com/taping.aspx
Audience taping will be permitted at Stockholm Syndrome shows. When Stockholm Syndrome is performing at a festival or other event featuring multiple bands, that particular event's policy may override Stockholm Syndrome's customary taping policy. When Stockholm Syndrome is opening for another artist, that particular artist's policy may override Stockholm Syndrome's customary taping policy.
SOUNDBOARD PATCHES WILL NOT BE PERMITTED through 12/31/04, as the band anticipates their second release will be a live recording!
NO VIDEO RECORDING will be permitted at anytime.
NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY will be permitted at anytime.
Violation of the rules above will result in expulsion from the venue or confiscation of equipment without warning.
The enjoyment of the audience in attendance at a concert always takes precedence over recording efforts. This means that at no time should tapers ever require other patrons to be quiet or otherwise interfere with their enjoyment of the show.
Duplication
All participants in audio recording exchange (regardless of format) acknowledge and respect the copyrights and exclusive ownership of the music and performances by the performers, writers and publishers. All taping must be for personal use only, which may include trading (via analog or digital tape, CD, or digital file transfer). Recordings may be traded only for an equivalent amount of similar media (cassettes or CDs, pre-recorded or blank). Audience taping at Stockholm Syndrome concerts is authorized for non-commercial purposes only. Unauthorized sale, duplication and/or distribution is strictly forbidden. All Stockholm Syndrome performances and recordings are the exclusive property of Stockholm Syndrome. All rights reserved. The rights to record Stockholm Syndrome performances set forth in this policy constitute an express, revocable license. We reserve the right to withdraw our sanction of recording, tape trading, and/or non-commercial digital audio file transfers on a case specific basis or in general, as we deem necessary. No waiver of any copyright or trademark right is intended.
