TILT Brass Band's SIXtet project
Live at Diapason Gallery, NYC, 5/9/07
On May 9, 2007, TILT Brass Band offers the first performance of its new six-piece project Sixtet in an immersive set of music by composers John King, Fredric Rzewski, and TILT director and trombonist Chris McIntyre. Sixtet features pairs of trumpets, trombones, and tuba, all played by TILT's unusually deep pool of creative musicians including trumpeters Nate Wooley and Russ Johnson, and trombonist Curtis Hasselbring.
