Subject: tea leaf reed
I tried listening to this set like any old TLG set. It simply sounded like an off TLG set when the band is trying to have energy for a big show but it just wasnt the same. I tried and hoped for the best. Franz is weak, Reed may be a better bass player but no one can play Ben C's songs like Ben C. No.

Subject: It's so different
take 5k acres for example. It's a different song without Ben....Ben walks dogs, ben is someone that maybe I took for granted but it's now a different sound phosure.

This is a good introduction to Reed Mathis as a rock 'n roll bass player. It's a good show with good energy, but Trevor's vocals are very low and hard to make out. Thanks for taping and posting.

Then when you consider the only time they had to rehearse as a whole band before these 2 shows was sound check in Santa Cruz the night before!

Consider the possibilities from this band!

Wow this show is a really good recording of a really hot night of TLG in The Rock Capital of the World!
