After news highlights (which are heartbreaking), we are very pleased to welcome long term Boston area activist Gabriel Camacho who has recently returned from a trip to Palestine. Mr. Camacho has had a long standing involvement in political solidarity work with the Palestinian struggle for self determination, dating back to his days at the State University of New York where he majored in Anthropology in the 1970s, and conducted field work in the village of El Ki'che in Guatemala where he witnessed the presence of Israeli military advisors and the Guatemalan army's occupation of the Mayan highlands.
