We will keep fighting for all libraries - stand with us!
This issue runs to six pages; I'm not absolutely sure the middle pages - 3 & 4 - are in the correct order, but this is not important.
Issue 11 came through my front door September 8, 1999. An article on page 2 of this issue, Dishonest lawyer gets 18 months, was published originally in the Guardian, October 4, 1997, so this, issue 10, was obviously published between these two dates. As far as I recall it was published around or just after Christmas, 1997. Incidentally, it is not true that Lewis Ruskin founded Searchlight; Gable himself denied this, and for once he was telling the truth. This was obviously a claim made on behalf of a bent lawyer by his advocate before sentencing, although why anyone should think founding a scurrilous hate sheet like Searchlight would reflect well on anyone remains to be seen.
