Occasion
The Tesla-K.Organization participated in the "Ground One Festival" and showed a rough version of this short movie at "De Vrije Academie" in The Hague on friday the 19th of may, 2006.
The Soul Representative had volunteered to un/explain, or "un/translate" if you will, the Doctor's Work.
So a copy of The Work was smuggled into the hands of the organization's second most trusted friend.
A note was attached to the box: "Dear Friend", it read... "Please keep this box sealed until it is time. You will know why when it happens. Please Un/see reality and understand the possibilities. Love, Tesla-K."
Puzzled but confident, the Soul Representative headed for The Hague.
Night Bares Truth.
It would become a memorable evening indeed. The Soul Representative unsealed the box and found a DVD which he loaded into a player. Its image projected on a wall, the Soul Representative began to Un/Explain the movie. But...
Overwhelmed by the friendliness of his hosts, awed by a Thunderous Live Soundscape generously provided by the magnificent Captain Golden Globe (a.k.a. Nathalie Bruys) and under continuous attack by a group of roughly 300 artists from France, Iceland and Germany, the Soul Representative soon entered an altered state of mind in which an urgent vision began to fill his being quickly and completely. Chaos prevented full understanding, but when the Soul Representative came to his senses the next morning he began to work feverishly.
Exactly one week later he presented an edited and enhanced version of The Work to the public.
Of this version only three copies exist. One copy is in the hands of a museum curator. It may never see the light of day again. One copy is inside a drawer in a suburb somewhere. It may never resurface. And then there is this copy you are about to download. You are encouraged to share your copy with your friends, it is released under a Creative Commons license.
Context
Near Earth Object (NEO) 73p, also known as Comet Schwassmann Wachmann, breaks up in dozens of pieces in 1995. That same year a cropcircle warning of an End Of Time event appears in a field in The United Kingdom.
According to a vision widely publicised on the internet, the world would then end may 25, 2006, when a piece of NEO73p would buzz through our skies and land in the ocean between South America and Africa.
Dr. Tesla-K, the fuzzy philosopher, builds an underground lab and using the friendly town of Egersund, Norway starts to experiment with time.
Spoiler warning
As you can tell by the date today, may 25 2006 passed uneventfully so we know that the Doctor did not fail.
summary
these 8 minutes and 24 seconds show us how to understand Un/Time. It is all you need to know to Un/End the world.
soundtrack
The soundtrack is a resample of Blindness, by The Fall. You'll hear just a few bars of that excellent and haunting piece of music.
You should really hear all of it, and all of them. See http://www.thefall.info or http://www.visi.com/fall
heartfelt thanks
The Tesla-K.Organization (www.tesla-k.org) is extremely grateful to Patricia De Ruijter, curator of TestPortal (http://www.test-portal.nl/#) for her ongoing support and faith in our work. A great artist and excellent photographer herself, Ms. De Ruijter's stimulating questions help us grow and the challenging concept of "Testportal" provides fresh artists from many disciplines with a testing ground for their often cutting edge art. The Tesla-K.Organization also is very grateful to Hay Schoolmeester, who is a giant and a great organizer.
A special humble thanks to another giant: Nathalie Bruys, for her vision inducing energy. You are "BOSS". Our warm feelings of thankfulness go out to A. Simonis, sound and light engineer for the evening of the 19th, and most certainly to Ingrid Rollema and all others at De Vrije Academie, you made us feel so welcome. Of course those responsible for the "Ground One Festival" deserve our deepest feelings of gratitude for providing a much needed platform. And we especially thank you for downloading this 720x576px Quicktime/DIVX encoded jewel of a movie. Thank you.

Very intriguing. I'm all about space-time, melting clocks, what not have you.
Mind if I re-use the video if I give Tesla-K Org kudos? I think I can use it for something..anyway, cool stuff! Groovy track, too.
