Subject: One refreshing thought
was how little they relied on a ,'canned laugh track' it was there, but most of this light hearted fair held together on it's own merit.
While they didn't chance much controversy, they played it fairly straight for a middle class 1960's family. I like how this episode passed the message along through the 3 generations...very clever .

Subject: Hmm
One star detucted for being a lousy syndication print missing some footage of the story-line itself. Still..Very nice episode!

I love this show, since it's so 'gentle' and 'light-hearted'.

Subject: Nice Show
"The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" is fairly different to most sitcoms that aired at the time, In the sense that the pacing was slower and the story-lines more realistic. The show has a reputation for being over-idealized, But episodes like this show that isn't the case. It never dealed with serious issues, But it wasn't the "Perfect Family" sitcom that some call it. This episode is fairly typical of the series, Which used gentle humor derived from the characters conversations.
(Note: This is a syndication print, Although ths story-line is fully intact)
