The Best Of Don Campau Vol. 2 (2000-2009)
This collection, The Best Of Don Campau Vol. 2, covers the years 2000-2009. Vol. 1 was called Play Dice With Me: A random collection of Don Campau and covered the years 1984-1996. That CD was released in 1999. From 1996 to 2000 I did record material but very little of it seemed to make the final cut or wasnât pertinent to the more recent songs. Most of the recent material was recorded digitally on my BOSS 1180 recorder but a few of the tunes from 2000-2002 were still taped on my TEAC 3440 4 track open reel machine. This compilation is all about songs, manly rock songs, and doesnât deal with my âexperimentalâ music of the past few years. That may come as a separate release later. Song writing credit goes to all collaborators. Thanks.

Subject: Review of Track 14
Whilst I applaude Don and his tireless efforts to collaborate with other hometapers, and his prolific output of homemade music...
As the collaborator on track 14, I must say two things. There never was an album called "Alternator" by me and Don. It was a project begun at a time in my life when I was abandoning music, due in large part to a major life crisis. I do not like the tracks from the "Alternator" project, it was not a proper collab.
And so whilst I allow this remnant to exist on the Internet Archive in the spirit of archiving, I protest the track's existence and my participation on it.
There is WAY better stuff from both of us individually, and together as "Sinecure".
