Subject: this is the original
This is the one made in 1953, but Jack Webb also made another one in the Dragnet of the late 1960's (1967-1970). They used some of the same actors in both, like the old guy playing chess and the padre

Subject: Good but cheesy...
It is great to watch these old shows. You cannot beat them for nostalgia fans like me. This one is a favorite of Dragnet fans and rightly so. Bit, you have got to admit there is more cheese here than a box of Velveta!

Subject: THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Thank you so much for making this available. I have been looking for this particular episode for a long time. But, I never know when exactly it was made. I remember it in colour though. But, I'll take black and white. It is such a nice episode made during a time when it was ok to talk about Christmas. Thanks again. Simply a sweet Christmas episode.

Subject: A very special episode...
A little known fact about this episode is that it originally aired in color! Of course, the original color print has most likely gone lost over the years, and we're left with the black and white print, presented here. Still a great episode nonetheless.

The only episode written by the late Richard L. Breen (probably best known for writing the 1953 movie "Titanic").

A must for any classic TV fan...
