On August 29, 2005, The Decemberists' management gave permission to fan Andy Bouwman for shows to be hosted at the Archive, adding:
We'd rather opt out of the MP3 and keep this to the lossless formats you
describe below.
As far as the Decemberists' taping policy is concerned, the band are fine
with taping, so long as the venue does not restrict taping, but will not
offer board feeds for this purpose. The Decemberists are happy for etree to
archive tapes of live shows for noncommercial, royalty-free downloading.
Shows may not be bought or sold, but may be traded freely between fans.
