On January 12, 2005 The Dirtbombs gave OK for archive.org:
"Hi--
I recently recieved a request from Yuri Pattison for permisson to
allow Live shows from the Dirtbombs to be posted at archive.org for
free download. This must be an act of Kismet, since for about the
past month I've been downloading movies from archive.org without
even knowing about the etree service, although I did check out the
French schoolkids rapping, in the 'Open Source Music' section.
Permission is hereby granted for Dirtbombs shows to be uploaded to
archive.org; is there some way to stipulate that anything uploaded
also be made available in the .ogg format, or is that not
controllable?
