This is a classic taxonomic work on the Reptilian and Amphibian fauna of the Indian subcontinent.
The entire series was sponsored by Her Majesty and the British Empire and it is extremely fortunate that these rare books are made public. Many have been under the mistaken notion that such books are copyrighted. This digital version will help save the remaining few books from further deterioration and make them last forever and would benefit all naturalists and herpetologists.
