On March 11, 2008 permission was granted for the LMA:
"To Whom It May Concern:
This is Stu from The Grip from Fort Collins, Colorado.
I am authorizing the
Archive.org project to include The Grip and their
music.
Rights of fans:
It is The Grips policy to treat our fans with the
respect they deserve and to encourage them to record
and trade our live music. This includes both live
audio and video, distributed via a variety of old-tech
and hi-tech means. The Grip insists that no one profit
financially from the unofficial distribution of our
music. Online trading of The Grips live music is OK,
whether it be individual tracks or whole shows. Go
ahead.

to uploading our latest live music as soon as
