Rights
On October 10, 2002, The New Deal's manager gave permission to archive The New Deal shows:
"Thanks for your interest in the band.
Can you confirm that there is no fee charged for access or utilization of
the site? Is this a completely free trading system?
If it is, then we have no objection to taped shows being traded on the
archive. Of course, copyright materials (including our releases on Jive
Electro and Sound+Light Records) are specifically excluded from any
agreement.
Thanks,
Paul Johnston"
We confirmed (this project is indeed wholly noncommercial), and Paul responded, "you're very welcome".
