Kassiel first solo album.
The Past and Promise
âSukidaâ: this piece is light, ironical and melancholic at once. It intends to be a tribute to Japanese cinema in general and to the eponymous film by Hiroshi Ischikawa in particular, as well as its main actress Aoi Miyazaki.
âProven by the winterâ: with this piece I have started an introspection into the fascinating world of musical synthesis, which led me to draw conclusions about the negative impact of psychoacoustic effects on sinusoidal waves â here is the proof, by the winter.
âExperiencing the Impossibleâ: an attempt at reconciliation!
âShemty's Awakening #4â: more adventures with Shemty, now on a pilgrimage in Japan, half-way between tradition and modernity.
âCrystallisation of the Soulâ: this might have been a good title for one of Ozu's movies.
âTime Pastâ: a vain attempt to go back in time to the origins of the digital era, and to change the course of History.
âFirst Light Before Dawnâ: end theme: images flashing past at full speed, then comes the calm of the night, the first light before dawn.
