"The Steve Allen show" from Dec. 30, 1953, a local program on New York's WNBT, Channel 4, with show regulars Eydie Gorme and Steve Lawrence and guest Roger Price.
Despite the odd runtime of 40 min. this Kinescope is indeed complete. The show aired Mondays through Fridays from 11:20 pm to midnight.

Priceless
I didn't know what to expect, and I liked what I saw.
The music and comedy were great, but what I really liked was how casual the episode was.
The commercials & plugs added to the fun.

Early Steve Allen Show
Enjoyed it very much, Allen was at his usual best here in what was the forerunner to the "Tonight Show", hope to see more of these!

What a show
Tried to never miss one of these shows, and would walk by the north doorway (when they had it open, usually summer nights)of where the show was done, so that my friend at home could see me walk by:) It was LIVE! Steve and all the others kept me entertained for every minute, I never had an idea of what any show would bring, just set back and watched.
Actor, Producer, Musician, and on and on, he did almost everything.
A little blurry, but thank goodness there is one to be blurry.
