Subject: Smoke, smoke,. Smoke that cigarette..
Very odd EB film about smoking. Although it doesnt go out and say it, its general conclusion is Smoking is bad for you! Though it tries to remain neutral throughout this, the EB people seem to cant do anything about the negative effects of Nicotine and tar, and they give us, yes, cute bunny experiments to prove what nicotine can do to you If someone paints your heart with the stuff, or what would happen to you if someone painted your back side with tobacco tar.
While some of this is interesting, (and the kicker of this is, is that scientists had yet to figure some of the negative effects, like carbon monoxide on the human body),. The animal experiments were downright unnessarily, by gum! Oh yes! The icky human cases we can do without too! Love the testimonials though.

This is not my favorite smoking / cancer film on this site (that would be, of course, You Are The Switchman), but this does have its moments.

Subject: the other side of the tv commercials
there have been so many glowing reviews of the wonderful TV Commercials .This film presents an honest story of the effects of tobacco I have REVISED this review, after reading UniQ ,s review. The tv commercials are VERY artistically made and they certainly should be viewed because they are part of our history .Again, I am in debt to prelinger archives

Subject: Here's a rundown:
Animals: Distrrbing (Let's pet the rabbit >:))

This is about the opposite of 'Play in the Snow', it's amazingly relevant, almost an much so as Despotisim. Probably one of maybe 7 truly objective tobacco commentaries.

jack2: Yea tobacco is bad, still those ads are great, especialy for ppl like we, who've never've seem them otherwise.
