Community board member Tony Sears gave this speech at the Auckland City Council City Development Committee meeting on May 14th in regards to the recommendation by the group evaluating tenders for waste management on the island that the contract be given to TransPacific Industries (TPI) an Australian owned multi-national company thus removing over 25 years of locally managed waste management on the island.
