ExcidoTransapparent EP (May 10, 2006)

The music of Excido is unlike any ambient music you have heard before. It retains the genres usual qualities. Heavy on atmosphere, dense in melodies and mesmerizing sound, yet no pads or keys are used. What you hear on this EP is predominantly created using my 7-string guitar, with vocals and programmed drums making the odd appearance.

Its very visual music, and is something that requires you to find a quiet place, plug in some headphones and just listen. Only then can you hear its full potential. Influenced by the likes of Jesu, Maitreya, Final, Isis, Sunn 0))), Hyatari, Deftones, Boris, Old Man Gloom and Pelican.

Track order:

1. Broken
2. Incomplete
3. Void
4. Brainhaze
5. Superbia

Subject: wonderful
any fan of sunn o))), jesu, pelican, or isis will love this, but it takes the post rock aesthetic and bridges it into brian eno's sound scapes
