Notes
This patent describes a proprietary base for use in mounting relief printing plates. This base was also intended to employ "quads" or other spacers cast on Thompson Type-Casting (or similar) machines employing a special attachment patented by Neumann in US Patent 2,048,021. (That patent, issued 1936-07-21, was originally filed with this present patent as application serial number 747,158 before the application was divided.)
