The rumor's true folks - the weekly Sunday LIVE shows on s&S are 2 short of being done, fin, terminado, ??. or at least on an extended hiatus as you've come to know them - the full skinny coming next week! There're other things in store though - don't you fret... This night, my dear pals from UbRadio were here to grace the place one last time in this form. sighs and sad whimpers aside, join us for 3 hours of noisey electromagnetic toasts and streams of consciousness at 128k on tap for the road: Yak Beer! -FC and from the Ub Radio press mill: *********************** Our good pal F-yakbeer-sto, most honorable host of Shirley & Spinoza internet radio, will be heading back to "country-X" for a while to pursue his adventures, so we wanted to put together a sort of send-off with our last uB-radio broadcast on s&S as we wish him well and show our appreciation for hosting the uB-radio show for a while. A lot of good times were had at these shows and much camaraderie and creativity was shared. We're equally as appreciative that F-yakbeer-sto put forth all the great creative energy to help archive them online in their entirety.

Reviewer:das - - June 7, 2007 Subject: hahaha The yak (Bos grunniens) is a long-haired humped domestic bovine found in Tibet and throughout the Himalayan region of south central Asia, as well as in Mongolia. In Tibetan, the word yak refers only to the male of the species; a female is a dri or nak. In most languages which borrowed the word, including English, however, yak is usually used for both sexes.
