This is a 1h46m long recording of me completing the original PC FPS Unreal, end to end.
It is recorded in 800x600 with FRAPS and made into a DivX MPEG4 using Virtualdub and XviD. This 2GB version is a recompress from a 4½GB DVD version - thus the image quality is not quite top-notch. I extracted the music and added it as soundtrack.
It is not a speedrun, nor is it a "100%" run. I simply played through the game avoiding most side-tracks. Rather an action-filled tutorial on how to complete the game and a display of its splendour than a display of skill.

Well, there is a simple explanation...
Twojays:
The description says "It is not a speedrun, nor is it a "100%" run. I simply played through the game avoiding most side-tracks.", so I fail to see what makes me a liar. Sorry that you did not like it.
f4c3:
I played the game at 50% speed which was later doubled in VirtualDub. Call it cheating, but I didn't want to record a bunch of annoying mistakes and fumbles but get the smoothest run possible. It took a lot of repeated attempts every segment even then.
Thus - no gun shots or roaring mobs, which in my opinion is an improvement. Instead you get the music, as clean as possible. =]
Rick'n Roller:
Yeah, I guess I am a liar when I explicitly state that this is not a speed run and post it under "game replays". I suck, and I apologize for not meeting the exacting and arbitrary standards of anonymous griefers.

About what Twojays said:
What Twojays means of you being a liar is what the description says: "It is not a speed run" but you make it look like it is by skipping enemies and going past useful items and areas to explore(the Hut in Nyleve's Falls, and the rest of the canyon. The first Stinger in the Mines of Rrajjigar, etc).

You suck, why do you go past enemies all the time and you dont even check things out. I give this 0 stars for being such a liar!

Why? ;_;
I'd have given this five stars based on the choice of such a great game and the outstanding visual quality, but finding out you had removed the in-game sounds and music and only replaced them with what seemed like randomly-chosen tracks from the game was a huge let down.
One of the things that always did it for me in Unreal was the atmosphere; good visuals, but also fitting sounds and great music... or lack thereof when it's called for (when the lights shut down slowly in the mines of Rrajigar for example). And that's what I missed when watching your video.
