As part of a series of ambient sound broadcasts, Charles Amirkhanian introduces recordings made by him and his wife, Carol Law, in Ravenna, Italy (birds); Northeast France (meadow); Positano, Italy (children); the Grotto dello Smeralda (”Emerald Grotto”) on the Southwest Italian coast; and Essex, England (a visit with composers Harvey Matusow and Annea Lockwood.
