Beware as someone said. Do not upload this show to Youtube or you'll get a copyright strike for sure. Dick Clark Productions has people checking for this type of thing all the time

I used to watch this show every day! I loved it so much & just loved Jerilyn Stapleton & Pete Menefee! I was shocked when I found this clip because I have searched everywhere for some of the episodes. I recently found Pete & Jerilyn on Facebook & have been in contact with both. Pete has had a wonderful career as a costume designer in Vegas. Did you know that when he was dancing, he danced in Mary Poppins & he also was in Bye Bye Birdie as Harvey Johnson? All of the dancers were wonderful on WTAI, but I guess everyone had their favorite! Mine were Pete & Jerilyn, of course!
Sure wish I could find more of these episodes!

I really enjoyed this program, and would watch it every day after school. It had a regular cast, Paul Revere and the Raiders band, several regular singers including Steve Alaimo, Keith, and Tina Mason, and the dancers, plus each show featured two or three guest bands or singers doing their current hits. I still have three of the programs from their travelling show.

I waited every day to see this show! I did'nt care who sang , all I cared about was the Girl dancers! In particular the dark haired girl with the big smile! With the name of Lesley on her shirt! She made my day! I recently tryed to find out about her on IMDB ! Only that her name was Lesley Evans! I looked on the Mash website where she had 3 bit parts as a nurse! Under nurses with a few reacuring roles, I found 2 pictures of her in color! Beautiful Black hair, piercing blue eyes! I really had taste then!!! Luv ya Lesley!

I have faint recollections of this show, I saw the opening number almost daily for a while. But the host was a balding, middle aged guy and it was always in the studio. I know it wasn't Clark. Must have been at the end of its run and Clark had moved on to other things.

When it comes to copyrights as I have learned over the years ( as well as many others ), Dick Clark or at least Dick Clark Productions is just as bad when it comes to copyrights as Disney is.
How bad? About 3 years ago I had uploaped a clip of the legal ID from then WFIL channel 6 in Philadelphia. The clip was just that...just a 3 second clip. No Dick Clark wasnt seen in my clip just a photo of the Philadelphia Inquire building with the words WFIL channel 6 on it.
Anyway.. Imagine my shock when I got an email from BOTH You Tube & Dick Clark Productions saying I had "violated" Clark's copyright. Just 3 seconds !!!!
From what i read awhile back on another site it seems that when Dick Clark moved American Bandstand from Philly to Hollywood, WFIL more/less made him buy just about everything as far as films in the WFIL library went including programs that had nothing to do with Dick Clark such as Sally Starr's kiddie/western show that WFIL had aired back then.
And yes those who uploaded clips of Starr's show on You Tube ran into problems with Dick Clark Productions as well.
With that being said, just surprised this show feel through the cracks of Dick Clark's greedy hands.

Before there was TRL on MTV there was this show. I can remember coming home from school in the 1960's and watching. Where can I find more of this show? Long live Dick Clark and Rock & Roll!

Actually that's Keith Allison singing a Bob Dylan song. Keith was one of the regular performers on the show.
