Where's That Fire
All lunacy breaks out when Hay, Marriott, and Moffatt are the local fire brigade. The scene were they're being reprimanded in the burned out city hall, and Harbottle pants are still smoldering is hilarity at its finest. Almost equal to Oh, Mr. Porter. Outstanding comedy. Enjoy.

Public domain
There seems to be no copyright renewal for this film in the U.S.A.
British movies released before 1946 retained their copyrights for only 50 years. See Video-Cellar's
post.

Great Film - but are we 100% sure it PD ?
Are we sure this is in the Public Domain ? - as last I heard 20th Century Fox would not release this film on Video / DVD and would not make it available to any other company to release commercially.
Also with it been a 20th Century Fox film I would have thought that they would have copyrighted the film in the US as well.

Ya gotta love Will Hay
But you wouldn't want Will Hay in charge of blowing his own nose.. This is NOT the fire department you want in your town unless of course you're trying to burn the entire town down. LOL
These guys are to strong.. HILARIOUS!
