Reviewer:drworm01 - - February 14, 2008 Subject: Bad Even by Standards of Bad I apologize to any film I may have previously slandered with the claim "nothing happened." This movie is supposedly about a monstrous monkey but is more concerned with the one woman on the expedition trying to seduce her guard. Then, fifty minutes into the movie, the plot shifts and becomes about a mutiny, a lost field of gold and a secret agent--and it's still boring!
SPOILER AHEAD THOUGH THE ENDING IS OBVIOUS
The gorilla is, of course, in love with the woman, saves her, thwarts the evil plan and then gets captured and sent back to the states for study. Lesson learned: Always punch your weight.
