Subject: A great and early artist
William F. Denny mostly performed comic songs and is one of the few popular artists appearing on early brown wax cylinders of the 1890s. 'Time is Money' is a great example (good, crisp transfer done by Glenn Sage from tinfoil.com). Unless many other early comic songs of those days, the vast majority of Denny's recordings are even today considered as 'politically correct'. A definitely important personality!
