Subject: more thanks
I also want to thank you for posting this recording. It was definitely one of my favorite sets of the weekend. I waited for about 45 minutes in the crazy line at the festival entrance -- since they were still in the "check everyone diligently" phase that didn't wear off until Saturday evening. At least I caught the last few songs.
I agree about Rothbury being capable of reaching the mythical status that Bonnaroo and Coachella have attained. The Internet is on fire with endless praise. I'm just happy that Michigan finally has a large-scale cultural event to call its own. I don't know about you guys, but I think Rothbury 2009 can only get better!
p.s. - I feel left out for not hearing about Carl until after I got home. Oh well.

Subject: absolutly amazing!
As a local of rothbury, I would just like to say that this was one amazing weekend for me. I didn't have to drive hundreds of miles to get here and it was a great thing for the community. I had to work the Younder show so I am glad to see that it is up already. Thank you everyone for comming to my home.

Subject: One of the best of a great weekend!
Rothbury was something else, an unforgettable festival experience. Kudos to the production team that put it on, and made everything relatively hassle-free. Out of all the memorable sets of the weekend, this ranks right up there. Was wondering how Fish would fit in, but have no doubts now. A smokin' set. BTW, glad to hear Carl was found, safe I assume.

Subject: Best...Festival...Ever... (Except for Woodstock, of course)
Soling, thank you so much for taping and posting this set. This is an excellent sounding recording of a stellar set!
Anyone who was at Rothbury knows there is a new best festival (sorry Bonnaroo and Coachella).
Also, wanted to let everyone know that Saturday night we found Carl!!! He was in one of those pumpkins in the Sherwood Forest and we found him there at about 4 am. He was so embarrassed that he could barely speak. He did have a crown on that said "winner," though. Too perfect...

I totally agree! This was the best fest that could have been put on for all of us that were fortunate enough to be there and share the vibe!
Yonder/Fishman pretty stellar and the boys showed us fans much love! I wonder if the "band encouraged" man made fog is still hovering?
I highly reccomend this festival to anyone!!

Subject: Marco. CARLO!
I cant believe you mentioned Carl! What a good laugh that was, 2 min. after I walked away I heard everyone raging Carl again. An Amazing day indeed. An amazing 4 days rather. Probably the best Festie I've been to. amazing music, wonderful atmosphere(those woods my god!), hardly any hassle besides a little friskin at the gates, beautiful weather, and of course good kind people. Its pricy but it was worht it, I def recomend saving for next year for those of you who couldnt make it.
This Yonder set was intense! My heart is with Phish but hearing previouse recordings of Yonder with Fish I wasnt to impressed. Seeing it however, whole nother story, I thought it all meshed great, and seeing him was amazing. Some hard, in your face pickin, Great set!

Subject: ROTHBURY
Rothbury was absolutely amazing and this set was right in the middle of probably the greatest music day I've ever witnessed. I got to see this great set along with The Wailers, Keller, Widespread Panic, Primus, Bassnectar, and Pnuma Trio!!! Talk about an incredible day along with all the walks through Sherwood Forest... If anyone else has sets from this incredible festival please post them cause I wanna get my hands on as much from this weekend as humanly possible. Thanks for posting, and keep the music flowing!
BTW, has anyone seen Carl?

Subject: Very high energy show
I've seen Yonder 12 times now, and this show was definitely one of their best. I really like the new tunes and they all really delivered on all of their songs. I have never heard a crowd cheer so loud after a set. What an amazing festival!!
