Notes

This must have been one of the most interesting shows I've been to... The venue and it's patrons were all completed disinterested in the performers-- whether it was the sloppy mixing, the chattering crowd, or the trivia and sports on the TV's, no one in the place seemed even the slightest bit aware of there being a group of performers on the stage. The band quickly recognized this and was quite open about criticizing the venue, its staff, it's clientele, the town, even the channels that the tv's were on. But, they did it in such a way as to make it feel like those few of us who were paying attention were a specially selected group, lucky enough to be in on the joke. Different band members periodically leaned into my mics and said things like "Get me the hell out of here!," and these are archived now, either for your enjoyment or for their reference (should they ever consider playing this place again). Very curious show, I look forward to seeing them again.

Very big thanks go out to the band for allowing me to record, and also to bgreen, who helped me find out about the show and label the tracks.
