ZERO: Wilmer's Park - Brandywine, MD. 5-27-88 (1 Disc)
Recorded By Tim Stiegler & Ron Keyser with Audio Technica 815's (super-hyper cardioids) from the Soundboard>
Sony D5
Tranfer: Master Cassette> Phillips digital cassette player>spdif>creative Labs soundblaster
card>Sound Forge V6.0> CDWave Editor> CDR>EAC>FLAC
Please note the sound from this show was terrible. It is my opinion that the soundman actually had no idea how to run sound. Unfortunately this is
more than obvious. This was confirmed with the soundboard we were running at the same time.
However for archival purposes this is a good show so you may want to add it to your collection.

Subject: this was a night to remember....
What I remember about this night was John Cipollina, meeting him afterwards, and his sound and prescence onstage. He was LOUD,there was no mistake when he took a solo or did a fill. The previous tour of Zero I had seen, in 1987, in the summer, his breathing was really giving him trouble, and it showed.
But, this night was different, he was ON.
as for the sound, I actually got a copy of this show from Tim, who recorded it, back right after the gig, but, it sounded BETTER than the show to me, which was pretty bad. The crew there tended to do a lot of Hip Hop shows(and this was before the HipHop label was even slapped on the genre) and theP.A. was blown out and the crew not familiar with rock bands, not to mention, it was the end of a SUPER long day...I think this show started at like 2pm.
I give it a high rating out of fondness of memory, and Tim's audience recording is pretty dang good for an outside stage and all the factors involved.
Still, a must for any John Cipollina fan....GET IT !!!

Subject: Does the Who Do You Love - encore exist on tape?
Also - did Jerry Joseph's band Little Women play early at this show? I had seen them the week before in PA and I'm sure I saw them at Wilmers soon after that...
I recorded this show too - not sure with what - might still have the tapes.
Subject: Last time I got to see John Cipollina...............
There was some major feedback coming out of the PA at times, its a little less noticable on this audience copy compared to the sdb
