The actor, Bernardino Sifuentes in this film looks like a person who comes from a long line of Maya ancestry in the clothing of a contemporary Mexican immigrant. When he wants to shop for some necessities AT WALMART he realizes he needs to cash his paycheck. He goes to the local check cashing convenience store and finds himself without an identification. The clerks tell him he can't cash his check here without ID and dismiss him. He comes back with a contemporary chicana portrayed by Zulma Aguiar and she proceeds to show her Identification and cashes his check. She gives him his money and he's off to Walmart again.
