Subject: Exclusive Footage & Survivor Interviews
Peter Jennings has an individual in-studio that went into Ground Zero and filmed the aftermath shortly after the collapse of the buildings. He also mentions that he can smell the smells from the location on the individuals clothing in the studio. The pictures are incredible to this day to view, and must have been almost incomprehensible to see on network TV so shortly after the events took place.
George Stephanopolus comments about 7 minutes into the segment that the reason why rescue workers were not on the rubble at the time was due to the concern of the asbestos in the air at the time.
A survivor by the name of Tom Humpries gave Peter Jennings a recap of his day after arriving for work on the 57th Floor of Tower 1 this morning roughly 26 minutes into the segment. This is the first interview I recall from a survivor mentioning the fact that he spoke with (and heard of) no one above the impact zone in Tower 1. In actuality, there were no survivors above the impact point in Tower 1.
Once again I find the speculation regarding the missing segment and the suggestion of some vast conspiracy comical.

Subject: Indeed this is a conspicuous absence
The absence of the subsequent segment of the broadcast record of the most significant day yet in the 21st century does nothing but engender greater mistrust in the mainstream media. Not only would we expect real-time reporting of the demolition of WTC 7, but we might also expect information about the 15:56 apprehension of 5 suspects in East Rutherford which took place on 9/11/01. I've been hoping to find out when the "white van" report first broke in the national media.
