Subject: Berlin
kAzooo is from Berlin, so it's not sposed to be "idm". And what does "idm" really mean anyways? I'm sorry that this albumn wasn't what you wanted to hear, but you're right. It IS better to be mixed, and that's really what these tracks are made for is a party situation. Each track was mastered in it's own right, and you'de have to hear the original to make judgments. I didn't decide or know the track order when I mastered it... but each track stands on it's own, in the hands of a skilled mixer these tracks could rock a party for at least an hour. Also, my mastering has pleanty of density, but if you don't have gooood amps (and good phase responce in your room) to handle the low end, you're not going to feel the transients, especially on stuff like this. Sounds ok on our Genelecs/subs ;)

could be better could be worse. with the exception of a couple tracks there's lots of typical attempts @ minimal and idm beatery that isnt as throughly pulled off as it should be. the programming usually seems to be there, maybe its just the overall mixes or master... some of the focused sounds lack interest. also, from track to track the sonic continuity is interupted (by quality and overall sound), making it feel like less of an album and more like a collection of unrelated finished tracks. perhaps a smaller and more selective tracklisting would have paid off.
