The two "ragazzi" from Italy strike back and their unique electroclash sound once again hits the spot. The retro adventure "Mio figlio egoista" is nothing for the weak-hearted; expect massive beats and juicy distortion sounds, the genial idiots keep the dancefloor vibe alive!

Reviewer:purusha - - July 26, 2007 Subject: acid-driven sharp beats I have not heard much from Acedia Music, but I liked most of what I've listened to. This release is a bit of a surprise to me because I did not expect such an "aggressive" genre here (being Kungfoo, Kazooo and Itoa my references). The two italian guys melt some standard acid with noise-driven breakbeats and provide some sharp electro in doing so. The result is interesting but is not much appealing to me; the feeling is that something is lacking but there is much hope for improvement, leaving me with a new formation to keep my eyes peeled on. np: 2GI - Wot da phok

The tracks release an overall high energy, exception made for "Audio Piercing", that's a little calmer. Really good production makes old sounds new, wrapping the nineties rave scene in a new millennium package.
