Water. From early memories as a little kid of it seeping into and breaking a cool solar powered watch that I thought would last me my lifetime, to midnight snorkeling with phosphorescence. From it leaking into my tent at festivals, into my sleeping bag. To it somehow finding it's way from the shower through the floorboards and into the tv. It was also there causing every car crash I've ever been in. Almost drowning in it several times probably accounts for fear of falling into it in countless locations during my childhood. It's everywhere, it's inescapable, 83% in blood, 70% in our brains, everpresent in my body and mind, experimenting to recreate its characteristic sound by means of electronic circuitry was just another natural progression of my aquatic obsessions.
