Digital Tipping Point's Christian Einfeldt interviews software developer Adrien Lamothe. Adrien used open source technology to develop CapsuleSF.com, the web site that supports the Capsule Design Festival. The Capsule Design Festival is held twice a year in San Francisco and is the largest outdoor festival for independent fashion and lifestyle product designers.

Adrien discusses the advantages of using free and open source software for the CapsuleSF system. He provides historical perspective, comparing the current state of software development to the not so distant past. He details how web sites now can be used to not only interface with a company's customers, but to additionally support most all internal company operations. In that regard, CapsuleSF.com is likely the first example of a Web 3.0 web site.
