Escovedo is the best. saw him in baltimore a couple years back with a larger chamber type band and it was pretty powerful. he's done so many hip and different things through the years. pretty charismatic guy with great idiosyncratic ideas. don't miss out.

Subject: Does Not Get Much Better Than This!
This recording and show, along with the early and late shows from the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago from April 11, 2009 are simply amazing and utterly incredible. It's great to hear Alejandro in this trio format. Thanks very much for recording and sharing these. Taken together, they are a stunning set of performances by a master songwriter. Nice to see him getting the recognition and attention he's earned.
*Track 7, "Fall Apart With You" is the first time this song was performed live. Damn cool!
