I'm a teen, but I prefer this music to the noise my generation have to hear. This was a time before the Hindenburg ruined everything, and before the DC-3 and Pan Am Clipper.

The first, and till then, only American airship exhibited at the 1904 St. Louis Exposition. However, turn of the century sightings of mystery airships, intelligently controlled, is well documented & this song's lyrics sing of a "night" visitor at "my window," & being taken on a very far out celestial journey (One would have thought lyrics would have included St. Louis, or at least one earthly destination, but do not). The next wave of American UFOS didn't occur till 1947, when Buchanan & Goodman sang "When You See Those Flying Saucers." www.scorchedear.com

Cute little tune, especially for the Santos-Dumont enthusiast. And the sheet music is an amazing find!
...although, judging by the cover art, it's not a blimp, it's a dirigible.

Really cute song that yes, invites you to come take a trip on a blimp! Nice little chorus, a good singer, and an invitation for the audience to come in! That AND you get great looking music sheets on the file! Woo!
