What the heck was that?

Forgive me for being harsh, but whilst this is clever it has absolutely nothing to do with the theme of the contest. How does that relate to Friendships and Rivalries ?

My thoughts exactly.

I agree with Si665. This film was fourteen minutes of flashy lights, which hurt my eyes. This film actually creeped me out, so I stopped watching after the first five minutes. This is a little harsh, but I highly suggest that you try to make a different type of brickfilm. Because while this style is unique, it isn't particuarlly enjoyable, and makes little if not any sense.

Felt psychotic to me, like someone was going to die a painful death.......
I was happy watching it untill the 7th minute, but I fail to see how it fits the theme.

Hehe, I figured we'd get a psychedelic music video out of you! You definitely have your own distinct style and perhaps it's hard for some people to appreciate this for what it is. I did feel that this was a lot longer than it probably needed to be, and I would have liked to see some more stop-motion animation; you've shown in past efforts that you're clearly capable of good animation. I've got to agree that the FAR theme is not apparent.

I'm disappointed. Can you make a brickfilm like your older ones? I loved the visuals of those, but I can't really understand nor appreciate this kind of art.

Jokebox...that was a little uncalled for. If you're going to criticize it, don't insult it horribly.
I watched a few minutes of it, but couldn't finish due to an interruption. I plan on watching it soon, though, just like the rest of the FAR films.

Nothing wrong with YouTube Filip. Granted I wouldn't use it for a contest as I would want to use a higher resolution etc. But for everyday films, it is fine.

Honestly, it was hard to watch this in one sitting. But, it made me very curious.
Were you intoxicated in some way during any part of production? Have you built an entire theology or mythology based on Lego as a metaphor? Did you know at all what this would look like before you began? How long it would be? What colors you wanted? Did you write the music beforehand, and if so, did you tailor each section of the film to fit each piece of music specifically?
Anyway, thanks for making me think. Just when I think you're done, you bust out the q-tips. smile

I hate films like this, because they just make me feel stupid. Either there's some deep message here and I'm stupid for completely missing it, or there's nothing and I'm stupid for thinking there is.
It's quite... different. That's about all I can really say.

The following may contain spoilers:
......
Does the story work? (Is it a about a sympathetic character on a vital quest against insurmountable odds?) No. This piece, as far as I can tell, is not a narrative.
Is technically well-done? Syncing abstract images with music can be interesting, even if there is no accompanying story. Unfortunately, Norman McLarin this isn't. Neither the images or sounds are particularly watch-able. The visuals don't even look very inventive, with just a constant colour-filter put over handheld footage of a bedroom floor.
