Subject: Over the Top
When you first see this you'll wonder what exactly thier trying to sell, free coffee or carpets. It'd be one thing if say they maybe had a coffe shop in the shop, but that's not the situation here, rather it's just a pot of coffee that any other place probobly wouldn't bother advertising. The ad comes off making the sales person extremely desprite. Recomended.

Subject: How Not To Sell Carpets
Mrs. Charles Jackson is served coffee and mints by an ingratiating salesman while he tries to sell her carpets that he boastfully claims he buys by the mile. That doesnt say much for the quality of the carpets. No wonder Mrs. Jackson is the only customer in the store. Its just a matter of time before the Going-Out-Of-Business sign goes up.

Subject: Uh okaaaay..
You're not sure whether this ad for a local (?) carpet place is pulling your leg almost entirely or not, as the salesperson, the customer and the scenario is all 100% over the top. A simple message of 'free coffee' seems to have been multiplied 157% to this ugly ad.

Subject: Allen Carpet Commercial
A housewife is served coffee and mints by a solicitous carpet salesman who wants to please her so much it hurts. And it hurts to watch him. A mildly amusing bit of commercial flotsam from the 60s.
