Shen Tong Almost a Revolution- is a story of a Chinese Student's Journey from Boyhood to Leadership in Tiananmen Square co-authored by Shen Tong. It was first published in 1990 in the US and its second edition was published in 1998.
"Almost a Revolution "provides a much-needed insider's account of the events leading up to the Tiananmen Square massacre. Shen Tong has beautifully depicted his journey and the massacre by keeping all facts intact. This book keeps readers hooked till the end. All the incidents are explained with full precision and details. No fact was tampered while writing the journey. One goes on a historical ride by the way words have been written. One can actually feel the essence of pain, trauma people went through during that time.
It's a must-read for those who are interested in historical events. This is a literary work that everyone must read at least once.
