I was at this show and there was about 10 other people. After the short drive from Victor, Id. to Bozeman my girlfriend ditched my with the flu and left the show. My guilt for staying lasted about 3 minutes. This was a really fun time and I loved the Shapeshifter and hanging with the Band, Jenna, Charlie and the bartenders!

Subject: Great setlist and show
This seems more like a band practice than a show since it sounds like there were less than 10 people there. However, don't let that fool you as this is an excellent introduction to ALO as they play a full and complete two sets with many of their best tunes. Get it and enjoy it.

This is what a 5 star recording should sound like.

These cats seem to understand what an audience wants/needs... they culminate some of the better aspects of our favorite jam bands but don't get too caught up in any one style/song/mood/jam... they seem to never lose purpose/direction. WE CAME TO DANCE DAMN-IT!! (which reminds me of Umprey's McGee... in terms of the newer class "learning" from the last class...)

Sweet show / cool band... the future is now.....

Great sounding SBD and a really good show. I'm really starting to get into these guys and this is the best show I have of them to date. Everyone I play this for seems to really like it too.....

gonna have to step in here and give props when due. boys are tight, jams are out there, a bit of quality trash talking, a bunch more love. henfling's on one end and the zebra on another make magical bookends for the year 2004.

great sound. gotta give it the 5 star, full service marriot rating.

the hot tub is a mark in the new directions their jams are heading in, throwing around a serious groove with some dripping funk. chiropractic services needed after this dance session!

Subject: Small crowd. HUGE show!
This is the first time I have ever listened to the Animal Liberation Orchestra. This band is funky! At first I wasn't sure what to think because there didn't seem to be anyone at this show. But it really didn't make much difference to the band because they were playing with everything they had. And as the show went on you could hear the crowd become bigger and louder and really into it.

Great vocals. Catchy funky songs. Great jams.

They NAILED the Fez. Gotta love the Dan covers.

I look forward to seeing them the next time they come around my way.

The recording is very good to excellent.

Gotta love the charlieboards!! Very crisp recording and solid performances from the band - nice turns on the new tunes like the punky Mashde and the ukey Bubble is an instant favorite - a must for lovers of the BLAG funk
