Martin DumaisCordo (July 18, 2007)

- Martin Dumais - Cordo - (amp007 )

Cordo is a dreamy, murky single track minimalist composition.
Recorded live in 1 session, Cordo is quite musical and less abrasive than Dumais' main project AUN. For latenight urban rituals.

Martin Dumais, one of the figureheads of the Montreal electronic scene since its genesis. As a solo artist or with eclectic duo Les Jardiniers, he has performed over 500 times in Canada and worldwide, and is a key contributor to the development of electronic music in Montreal and its distribution internationally.

I was turned on to this canadian musician by is also excellent release on clinical archives. This is a bit different and even more minimal but in a good way. Very long and subtle changes engulf you. One of my better findings on the net recently.

quite recommended
