First half of a class from Anne Waldman's month-long series on female writers, "Some Women Writers," during the summer of 1977. The class consists of notes on Jane Austen and readings of her work, discussion of Virginia Woolf and Jean Rhys, and a discussion of the goddess and her role in women's writings.
