Subject: Amazing coffee house show from Annie!
Even though i have known annie for about 4 years now (she was a good friend of my freshman year roomate) i had never heard her play a live show. I never even heard her mess around on guitar on the floor of our dorm room. So this was my first show, and luckily i taped it. Even though there is the sounds of coffee being made, and the blender being slammed against the counter, the quality of the performance shines through. Annie's voice is amazing, and her guitar skills are awesome. Plus she's very funny on the mic. She just had a CD release for her album "Annie Bethancourt - Garage Sessions" which you should all buy from her at her next show.
Playing in the UCSD's Esspresso Roma coffee house at the weekly "Roma Nights" concert series, Annie Bethancourt entertained a crowd of nearly 50 with her one-woman acoustic show.
