First of all, this "Mama" is a religious experience, even with the slight mis-cue at the end. The quality of this recording is beautiful. Too many musical highlights to mention here! It's a shame more people weren't there to witness it.

quite a tight set by AOD - Harrower, Sinner, plus a few tunes i haven't heard before - my 3rd AOD concert, and every bit as great as others, despite the relatively short set. Adam having a good night, Nate on a few slower songs, but still skillful.
Also, the opening act I had not heard of before - not a local band, was rather impressive and fun.. The same sort of down-home, chill and fun music, AOD minus the keys and plus an amazingly talented saxophonist. Their name was Andover Trift, so definitely check them out - got their CD, and it's quite a good listen.
Overall, great sets played by both bands, though the venue wasn't incredible, the sound setup was pretty good and a great time.

Reid's set was very energetic. The crowd was a little smaller than I would have expected, but that didn't stop the band from playing an amazing set. I've seen AOD 4 times now and this was one of the best sets I've seen. Pulling out Sinner in the encore was also special since I had been yelling for it the entire set. Reid and the guys always put on a great performance and this was no different. I hope to see them again real soon

I was at this show also and was surprised also at the light turn-out...but then again it's not everyday that you can stand right next to the stage and watch such a great band (I was one of the five or six older than 20-year-olds there...) This being my first AOD live show - I thought they played great for such a small (but fun) crowd. What a shame that more could of been there for this show - thanks! (Just a side note- shouldn't "Walking on Water" - be "Walk on", a Neil Young cover??)

this was a very well played show in an interresting venue. the johnson center transfered over pretty well into a concert venue, but the turnout was suprisingly low. regardless the reid set was fantastic. i saw a number of tapers, and was wondering if any of them caught the opener. i would definitley be interrested in hearing that set also.
